An amazing view of Central Park

What a shot! A little history here: Central Park was developed to be what it is today. Frederick Law Olmsted, a landscape designer, and Calvert Vaux, an architect, designed a park devised to give citizens – citizens of all classes – a respite from the horrors of the city.

The division, design and presentation was so perceptive that it remains significantly unchanged. Other great city parks which were designed by them are Prospect Park, Chicago Riverside Park, and the Niagara Preserve.
